Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Workflow Management

Supervise day-to-day operations of the insurance verification team
Allocate inventory, plan team capacity, and manage productivity
Lead team huddles, assign tasks, and track performance KPIs

Insurance Verification Oversight

Ensure accurate and timely insurance eligibility verification
Review payer requirements, EDI systems, and pre-authorization rules
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and US healthcare regulations

Client Handling & Communication

Act as the main contact for client updates and escalations
Share performance metrics, TAT reports, and quality dashboards
Align team goals with client expectations and contractual SLAs

Quality & Compliance

Monitor quality scores, coach team members, and address errors
Conduct audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure team performance meets accuracy, timeliness, and compliance benchmarks

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in US healthcare insurance verification
At least 2 years of on-paper team lead experience (mandatory)
Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, PPO, HMO, and Commercial Plans
Strong knowledge of HIPAA, payer portals, and RCM tools
Ability to lead, motivate, and monitor remote teams
Good communication and process documentation skills
Graduation in any stream preferred
