Key Responsibilities:
As a Financial Accounting Executive at Capgemini, you will be responsible for handling core accounting activities and ensuring timely financial reporting, compliance, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and managing journal entries, general ledger reviews, and monthly reconciliations
Performing accurate and timely financial reporting, balance sheet reviews, and variance analysis
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS/GAAP) and internal controls
Coordinating with auditors and internal departments for statutory audits and process updates
Supporting Accounts Payable/Receivable, asset accounting, and cash flow documentation
Identifying accounting issues, proposing solutions, and supporting process improvements
Collaborating with cross-functional teams for efficient transaction handling and month-end closings

Candidate Requirements:

2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, reconciliations, and reporting
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
Good verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal and global teams
Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle preferred)
Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

Experience in IT services or shared service environment
Familiarity with automation tools like Power BI, macros, RPA, or SQL
Basic knowledge of taxation (GST, TDS) is a plus
