Job Description for Financial Accountant – Cash Management:
Location: Mumbai (Andheri East)
Experience Required: 3–5 Years (BPO/Shared Services Preferred)

This is a core accounting role focused on cash management, reconciliation, analysis, and process improvement. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams, BPOs, and external auditors. You will be directly responsible for monitoring and resolving open items in the cash management balance sheet, driving compliance, and proposing improvements to accounting workflows.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and reconcile Cash Management Balance Sheet accounts; clear open items in a timely manner.
Perform financial analysis, identify trends, and suggest process improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders (internal departments, BPO teams, and auditors) to resolve financial discrepancies.
Maintain compliance with audit standards; prepare detailed documentation and trails.
Identify accounting gaps and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Provide guidance to BPO teams on accounting processes and quality expectations.
Ensure proper documentation and accuracy in cash flow, accruals, and tax accounting.
Drive automation using tools like Excel Macros, Power BI, Alteryx, and improve reporting accuracy.

Candidate Requirements:

CA / MBA / Postgraduate in Finance or Accounting.
3–5 years of experience in BPO/shared services environment.
Expertise in Accounts Payable, Reconciliations, GST, TDS, and balance sheet analysis.
Advanced skills in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, VBA).
Working knowledge of ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, or Workday Payroll.
Strong technical and analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Familiarity with Power BI and automation tools (Alteryx, SQL, RPA) preferred.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive attitude with the ability to lead or support process improvements.
